Springfield, NJ – The Atlantic Federal Credit Union (“The Atlantic”) presented three local college-bound high school seniors who are Members of The Atlantic with scholarships to help provide some relief toward their tuition costs as they head off to their respective schools this fall.

The scholarships were awarded based on multiple factors, including overall academic performance, community service, personal essays and letters of recommendation. The three recipients included Jeremy F. who will be attending the University of Florida, Umar O. who will be attending Brown University, and Emely R. who will be attending Caldwell University.

On site at The Atlantic’s Union Township branch location to present the scholarships was Anthony Mero, Chief Executive Officer of The Atlantic. "This is one of my favorite days of the year,” said Mero. “It is a privilege to present these exceptional local students with some financial support to help them embark on their college journey. We look forward to their continued impact as leaders within our community.”
