SPRINGFIELD, NJ – The Atlantic Federal Credit Union (“The Atlantic”) recently had the privilege of facilitating $50,000 in grant funding across ten local nonprofit organizations through the Federal Home Loan Bank of New York Small Business Recovery Grant Program (“SBRG”).
The SBRG was created to support the financial security of organizations that face economic challenges due to various factors such as inflation, supply-chain constraints, the rate environment, as well as rising operating costs.
“Nonprofit organizations provide critical services throughout the communities we serve, and the Federal Home Loan Bank of New York is proud to partner with The Atlantic to help provide funding in support of these efforts,” said José R. González, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Federal Home Loan Bank of New York.
“Thank you to the Federal Home Loan Bank of New York for their partnership and the opportunity to extend recovery grants to local nonprofits who serve our communities,” said Anthony Mero, Chief Executive Officer of The Atlantic. “The SBRG funding will help our deserving recipients continue to advance their worthwhile causes, which uplift our neighbors throughout Essex and Union counties. These funds will help ensure residents in need have access to food and clothing, as well as other essential resources.”
